Misc ideas

  1. In advanced options user can select which metrics are displayed, just how in google scholar you can select whether to show bibtex or other info

For selected author: nice to have following information in charts/graphs

  1. publication count by types [Types are: Books, Chapters, Conference papers, Journal Articles, Demo Papers, Technical Reports etc].
  2. citation count by types.
  3. number of publiations from year1 to year2 with citations.
  4. for one publication: show by year with increasing/ decreasing citation count.
  5. Top-N most cited publications.
  6. Show publication which have impact (got some citations) and which dont have impact (without citations).--Muhammad Imran 19:51, 22 March 2010 (UTC)

[azzurra] This is a possible evolution of scenario 1. 1.1 Given that I got all the metrics of a particular researcher I want to know how much the value of these metrics change if I exclude some of his top-citers. (this means I want to know how much the *impact* of the researcher is broad or if he is known just in a small community that cite his work). 1.2 Given that I got all the metrics of a particular researcher I want to know how much the value of these metrics is influenced by a particular co-author or more than one (this means I want to know the *indipendence* of the author).

[alex] I do not think it is a scenario per se, already solved by DBLP or other bibliographies. In the context of ResEval, you might want to "Re-calculate metrics" removing co-authors
